THE GIANT AND THE SEA Wins Environment Award for Children’s Literature 2021

We are so excited to share that our author Trent Jamieson (and illustrator Rovina Cai) have won the Picture Fiction category of the Wilderness Society’s Environment Award for Children’s Literature 2021.

The Giant and the Sea is gorgeous picture book about climate change. Perfect for the children of the Climate Strike, this is a lyrical and deeply moving story about climate change, standing up for what you believe in, and the power of hope.

Judges Matthew Evans and Sadie Chrestman described the book as:

“A beautiful and gentle fable that illustrates how thin the line is between hope and despair.”
