In case you managed to miss it, Brisbane Writers Festival just swept through Brisbane. Our fabulous author Gary Kemble flew in from Scotland to officially launch Skin Deep at Avid Reader Bookshop on Tuesday 1st September as part of the Festival. On top of an amazing launch with queue winding down Boundary St, Gary chaired and read at a late night BWF session on dark stories, alongside literary luminaries Holly Black, Cassandra Clair, Kelly Link and Trent Jamieson, before running a writing workshop for emerging authors. It’s been a big Festival of Kemble, with Gary continuing the tour in Sydney and Melbourne this week.
