We have noticed a sharp increase in scam emails being sent to authors by people who are impersonating our agents. Please note that we will never approach an author using a gmail address, and please look out for fake emails using similar but not quite right spelling. Our agents will also never approach authors unsolicited if they are based outside of Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific or SE Asia, or writing in a genre we do not focus on. If anyone calling themselves an agent ever asks you for an upfront fee, this is the very biggest of red flags. We are sorry we cannot do more to stop these scam emails, but please be vigilant.
