We are delighted to announce the explosion onto the Australian publishing scene of a fresh, new voice, with the acquisition by Penguin Australia of Sasha Wasley’s Australian rural romance, the Daughters of the Outback series. Dear Banjo will be published in 2017, and introduces Willow ‘Banjo’ Patterson and her sisters, as they live in and around their father’s cattle station in Western Australia.
Sasha is an exciting new talent from Swan Valley wine region of WA. She has published some new adult and YA novels as S.D Wasley, and Dear Banjo is her first commercial adult fiction.
We at AAPS were lucky enough to sign Sasha up to the agency a few months ago, and have been sitting on this news with glee as the fine print was finalised. We are delighted to be able to officially welcome Sasha to AAPS and congratulate her on this brilliant step in her writing career!
