Affirm Press has acquired world rights to Rhianna King’s debut novel, Birds of a Feather via Rochelle Fernandez of Alex Adsett Literary.
A gorgeously written, funny story about family and love and finding your place in the world, Birds of a Feather follows Beth Dwyer and her grandmother, Elise, on a surprising journey, rediscovering lost love and sparking new flames.
Affirm publisher Kelly Doust said King’s debut is ‘completely charming’. ‘Birds of a Feather is a beautiful, fun story about forbidden love and family dynamics,’ said Doust. ‘This is an extremely polished debut and Rhianna’s characters will jump off the page and into readers’ hearts.’

Affirm will publish Birds of a Feather in April 2024.
