We are very excited to announce that Melanie Saward has joined Alex Adsett Literary!
Melanie is a Bigambul and Wakka Wakka writer, editor, and publisher. She is currently an associate lecturer in the School of Creative Practice at QUT and a PhD candidate. She is also the managing editor of Djed Press. When not writing, editing, mentoring, or reading, Melanie can usually be found baking something sweet, working in my garden, or taking her puppy, Archie, on adventures.

In a deal with HarperCollins Australia, she will be co-writing a teen fiction series with Bachelorette Brooke Blurton. Brooke is the 27-year-old mental health advocate who made history in 2021 as the first bisexual and First Nations Bachelorette.
