Tania Ingram
Tania Ingram is an internationally published author of children’s picture books, novels and poetry. Prior to becoming an author, she worked as a child psychologist.
Her picture books include, Dog on Log, which has been used in university courses for early education teachers. The heartfelt Oma’s Buttons, was written after talking with her mother-in-law, who was born in a displaced person’s camp in Austria, during World War 2.
Other books include the rollicking junior fiction series; Jinny and Cooper, published with Penguin Random House. Book #1, My Teacher’s Big Bad Secret was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology award in 2016.
Tania’s latest junior fiction series will be released with Scholastic in 2023. The first book, Aggie Flea is NOT a Liar! was partially based on an experience Tania had as a child. The second book, Aggie Flea Steals the Show! will be released in March 2024, followed by a mid-grade novel, The Other Shadow, in July 2024, and a picture book, Walls!, towards the end of 2024.
Tania is an experienced presenter and enjoys talking about books, writing and creativity. In her spare time, Tania likes to read and craft. She’s learning to play the ukulele and often sings to her chickens who pretend to be underwhelmed by her talent.
