Rhianna King spent 20 years working in strategic communications for state government environment agencies where she contributed to LANDSCOPE — a popular scientific magazine, including as Editor from 2011 to 2018. During this time, she developed a love of the natural world and learned everything she’ll ever need to know about cane toads. She now works for an Indigenous-led not-for-profit foundation where she has the honour of sharing stories about how community-led education programs support young people to reach their potential.
When she’s not spending time with her husband, two kids and dog Rosie, Rhianna is reading, chasing her next marathon PB or sending apologetic messages to friends and family about it being too long between catch ups.
Her first book, Birds of a Feather, will be released in 2024 by Affirm Press.
